EMPIRE MAGAZINE ISSUE 228 - RIBBED FOR EXTRA PLEASURE!

The new issue of Empire Magazine (June cover-dated) is now beginning to appear in newsagents (although, at the time of writing, most still seem to have the Indiana Jones issue... so get it now if you need it!) with a rather special cover.

We can't confirm if this really is (as the cover boasts) "The world's first fully 3-D cover" but it sure looks great.  We don't want to spoil the surprise but Hulk/ Marvel fans (especially those who miss the novelty "variant cover" collecting craze of the 1990s) will want to sneak-a-peek.

No chance yet to read the coverage of the movie itself (must... stop... touching... the... cover) but the pic of the "Gamma Testing Chair" (page 67) looks almost identical to the chair that changed Bruce Banner's life (and not in a good way) forever (because, despite three TV movie reunions, he never did find that cure) in the opening episode of the classic TV show.  You never know, this one might be a decent movie after all.  A review of the movie itself (rumoured to share a cameo appearance by a certain Nick Fury, sadly not played by the Hoff), will follow in a later issue.

Out now, priced at £3.90.  "Hulk Smash!"
